The name "DiscAlt" is short for "Discord Alternative" and is used solely to describe the nature of this project — an independently built communication platform. It is not intended to imply any relationship with Discord Inc.

Discord, the Discord logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of Discord Inc. These marks are the property of their respective owners and are referenced here only for descriptive purposes.

Independent Project

DiscAlt is built entirely from scratch. It does not use, copy, reverse-engineer, or derive from Discord's source code, protocols, APIs, or proprietary technology. The platform is an original implementation using its own architecture, codebase, and design.
